A Whiskey With a Purpose
This special commemorative whiskey, released in November 2025, was produced with the blessing of the Mayne family, who kindly gave their support to help honour Blair’s extraordinary life and legacy. In keeping with the family’s wishes, 10% of the proceeds were donated to War Years Remembered, their chosen charity.
War Years Remembered is dedicated to preserving the stories and sacrifices of those who served, and it now faces the urgent challenge of securing a new permanent home. Among its extensive collection are many original Blair Mayne artefacts, including his medals, wartime chest, uniform, photographs, letters, and personal correspondence. These unique items deserve a special place where they can be proudly displayed and shared with future generations.
22-Year-Old Single Malt Presentation Set
This exclusive limited-edition single-cask release showcased a 22-year-old Irish single malt whiskey, bottled at 50% ABV and finished in a refill Oloroso sherry hogshead. Each bottle was presented in a meticulously crafted, bespoke solid hardwood case.
Inside is a Master Distiller’s Certificate of Authenticity, with the Blair Mayne story printed on its reverse, along with a collectable challenge coin. Each bottle label is individually numbered by hand, underscoring the care and attention invested in this exceptional release.
A true collector’s piece - a remarkable whiskey accompanied by keepsakes to treasure.
Supporting this whiskey helped create a space where Blair Mayne’s story, and the stories of so many others from this island who fought in wars, can be remembered with the respect and recognition they deserve.
Tasting Notes
Delicate, sweet, and floral layers unravel on the nose, with candied orange and peach orchards leading over honeyed oak shavings. The palate is chewy and oily, delivering spiced fruits alongside Jamaican ginger cake, with honeyed pipe tobacco lingering between sips. When diluted, the nose reveals candied ginger while the palate opens to swathes of caramel-coated vanilla ice cream and gentle baking spices.
